Travel day to Riviera Maya. You will be flying into the Cancun airport, located approximately one hour from the resort.

A reminder for those traveling from the outside of the US, you are permitted to arrive on Saturday, May 2nd due to the length of travel.

*** Check-in time is 3:00pm. Early check-in was requested for early arrivals but this is not guaranteed.  

Please note that a hold will be placed on your credit card for incidentals at the time of check-in. The unused amount will be released back to your credit card within 7 days of checking out!

Upon arrival in Cancun, please completely exit the airport and you will find a Acquia sign for your transfer to the hotel. Do not stop at the counters inside as they are for timeshare sales. You want to completely exit the airport. Please see your Trip Plans individual itinerary for full details on pickup. The company providing transfers is Amstar.

• You can use the pool/beach while waiting to check in to your room while also storing your luggage. The spa/gym is available to change and shower once you arrive.
• Reminder: complimentary water sports (kayaks & SUPs) are available for guests at the beach every day from 9:00am-4:00pm.

• We highly recommend downloading the Unico app (search 'RCD Hotel') in the app store. In this app you can also choose from the Pillow Menu, Wake Up calls, and really anything you need before or after your stay!  And you can even personalize for minibar, all included complimentary.

 

6:00 - 7:30 PM - Welcome Reception. Please join us for a group Cocktail Hour on the Costera Terrace to kick off the week. Light appetizers and Drinks will be served.

For those looking for an evening nightcap, please join us in the Palmera Lounge.  There's a great outdoor terrace with bar located off Palmera Lounge with music and dancing. The lounge is open until midnight.

 

Monday 5/4/2026

Breakfast on your own. Breakfast is served at both Mi Carisa and 2087 Restaurant from 7:00 - 11:00am. Inez Cafe has fresh juices, coffee, tea, and baked goods in the morning, while the menu transitions to sandwiches, paninis, and meal-sized salads for lunch and dinner.  Cafe Inez is open from 6:00am - 11:00pm.

Today is all yours to relax and enjoy the resort!

12:00 PM - Meet up at the Acquia Headquarters - This afternoon, feel free to stop by the Acquia Cabanas to network with your co-workers and enjoy the afternoon in the pool! Acquia will have pool side Cabana #760 and 761 for those looking to socialize with co-workers. This is not required rather just a meet up point for the afternoon!

Dinner: At Leisure - Here is a link to the restaurant options on property that are included.

For those looking to extend the night, there will be a DJ in the Palmera Lounge starting at 10:30 PM.

Day at Leisure!

The 20°87° Pool - The most central pool, where guests can enjoy a swim up bar and daily pool activities. Its sophisticated dark blue color provides a warmer water temperature. There are 3 pools on property, for those looking for a more mellow experience we recommend La Escondida pool.  Here guests can experience a true sense of escape, with supremely mellow music and comfy seating. The water temperature in this pool is a bit more refreshing, and features a hydro pool. Finally if you want to watch the action but not be in the center of it we recommend the third pool, La UNICA Pool.  This pool is large and lively—a place to socialize and hang out with a drink or two. Its sophisticated dark blue color provides a warmer water temperature.
